The Rockhopper of Percuel
In 2018 MacLean Photographic started a long term project following the daily life of a Scottish fishing boat and her skipper Barry Brunton.
The series of videos followed Barry as he took the Rockhopper out to sea, as well as the daily maintenance tasks of keeping a 41 year old boat shipshape.
Filming resumed in Spring 2022 when Barry Brunton’s new boat, the Lynsey B was launched in a new series called ‘One Man and His Boat’.

FIA European Historic Rally Championship
In 2019 MacLean Photographic was tasked with improving the media coverage of the FIA European Historic Rally Championship, a series for rally cars from the golden era of rallying.
As well as providing rally reports and interviews with drivers, a series of videos were produced from each of the nine rounds.
At each event Maclean Photographic obtained permission from the authorities to use a drone to obtain some exciting action shots.

Zenos E10S
MacLean Photographic was commissioned to do a behind the scenes car photo shoot for Fujilove Magazine.
The car was a Zenos E10S, a British built road going track day car which we had on loan for 24 Hours from Leven Car Company in Edinburgh, with Scottish racing driver Christie Doran doing the honours behind the wheel.
The shoot took place in the Scottish Borders and for the video we used the DJI Phantom 4 Pro to get some aerial footage of the car.
