The castle at the entrance of Victoria Harbour is the dominant landmark in the Scottish town of Dunbar.
As one of the strongest fortresses in Scotland, Dunbar has a long and bloody history and saw many battles in the Middle Ages. After a siege in 1567 Dunbar Castle was finally slighted by order of the Parliament of Scotland. In December 1567 the castle was to be "cast down utterly to the ground and destroyed in such a way that no foundation thereof be the occasion to build thereupon in time coming."
This short video was shot at the request of the Dunbar Harbour Trust to show the current condition of the castle walls. The video was shot on a DJI Phantom 4 Pro and a DJI Mini 2.
