WILDLIFE WORKSHOP AT BROCKHOLES

In October 2018 Jeff Carter was invited by Wilkinson Cameras to host a wildlife workshop to demonstrate different techniques to capture wildlife images with the brand new Fujifilm X-T3. The workshop was held at Brockholes Nature Reserve near Preston in Lancashire.

The day started with introductions and a short presentation to show the twelve guests who had booked the workshop what could be achieved with the Fujifilm X-Series and various Fujinon lenses. The presentation also demonstrated the techniques used and also the camera settings for each image shown on the screen.

After the presentation the guests were split into two groups of six, one group with long lenses to shoot some images from the hides by the lake and the second group was given some shorter telephoto lenses to capture some birds down by the bird feeders.

After lunch the two groups swapped over and the day concluded with a quick review of the images captured during the day.
